How can we press the promises (He gives more grace, James 4:6) into the places where we are struggling and/or need growth?

Almighty God,
We thank you for meeting us with the grace and truth of our Savior Jesus. This Advent season we ask for the help of Your Spirit to walk in the light and love of Christ as we long for your return. May we experience the hope, joy, peace and love you gift us in the gospel.
